Brian Allen

I am the owner and founder of Pursuit.

After more than 20 years in the fitness industry, pastoral work spanning those 20 years along with 15 years of applying coaching principles to management and mentoring, in 2018 I achieved certification as a Health and Wellness Coach through Catalyst Coaching Institute in Colorado. A Chicago native, I began coaching my staff, club members and local college students to achieve both personal and professional goals. In 2020 I became a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and began Pursuit. I have coached hundreds of people through lifestyle changes, life transitions and personal growth. I now serve as faculty at Catalyst Coaching Institute where I help train coaches in core competencies so they can become the most effective agents of change available. The mission of Pursuit is to contribute to human flourishing through coaching.

I love the LORD, my family, the outdoors, fitness, adventure, exploration, discovery and growth. I geek out over new experiences, approaches to strength and human movement, intellectual pursuits and playing music. I live in Chattanooga, TN and explore its adventures with my wife and eight children.
